What could be more comfortable and cozy than snuggling on the couch with a wonderful hot water bottle? For Breiclub I went to work on the theme comfort & cozy. I designed the crochet pattern for this hot water bottle cover. You can now find the Dutch crochet pattern on the Breiclub website. The crochet pattern will also be available in English on Ravelry and LoveCrafts.
It was so fun to work on this crochet pattern! A slightly thicker cotton yarn or Aran weight yarn is perfect for this type of project. I tried different colors and came up with this color combination. The colors match our style perfectly! I finally decided to use three different colors. The first color I used is from Hobbii Rainbow 8/8 and the other two colors are from Yarn and Colors Epic.
You can combine many colors with this crochet pattern. Crochet the cover in one color or combine several different colors. The crochet stitches used for the cover give this project a nice texture. The folded edge and wooden buttons complete the crochetproject completely.
